Our Vision

FREEDOM CHURCH EXISTS TO CONNECT PEOPLE TO JESUS CHRIST AND EXPERIENCE THE FREEDOM THAT ONLY HE CAN BRING.

What to expect at Freedom Church?

We would love to have you and your family as our guests.  Feel free to come a little early and enjoy some freshly brewed coffee.  You can expect uplifting, spirit-led worship, as well as bible based, powerful preaching.

We want your experience at Freedom Church to be an authentic connection to God.

What do I wear?

At Freedom Church we want you to come as you are, and wear what is comfortable for you.

What about my children?

Your children will be with you in the main worship portion of the service, and after that they’ll be in their own area where they’ll learn about Jesus in an age appropriate way.

ABOUT US

Our purpose at Freedom Church is to “make disciples” of Jesus Christ. We do this through prayer, the Word, personal involvement, and authentic community. We encourage every individual to passionately follow, serve and grow in Christ.

WE WERE MADE TO LIVE FREE!

Beliefs

Freedom Church of Henrico is a church whose purpose is to make disciples of Jesus Christ. We are founded upon the belief that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God.

We believe in the great commission and are endeavoring to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with love, mercy and compassion.

We believe there is only one God (Deuteronomy 6:4 ). He is the creator of heaven and earth, and of all living beings. He has revealed Himself to humanity as the Father (Creator), as the Son (Savior), and as the Holy Ghost (indwelling Spirit).

We believe in water baptism by immersion in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sin.  Through baptism we identify with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ Romans 6:3-6; Colossians 2:11-14; Acts 2:38.

We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial sign of speaking in other tongues. Acts 2:4,38.
